Improver Bachata Class
Our Bachata Improver classes are designed for dancers who are ready to take the next step in their Bachata journey. This course focuses on strengthening your foundation in Bachata while introducing more refined techniques and combinations.
This course will focus on:
Basics: footwork and rythm
Combinations
Body movement and isolations
Partnerwork Technique
In this class you’ll get the tools to feel comfortable dancing social with any partner to a random song. You’ll understand bachata structure and understand your dancing better.
We recommend taking this course 2–4 times before progressing to the next level. If you are in doubt regarding moving up or not, please ask your teachers.

Your Teachers
Jonathan will be teaching Bachata Improver classes at Latin Vibes. As a core member of the Latin Vibes team, Jonathan brings a unique background as a circus artist, acrobat, and performer, giving him exceptional body awareness and a dynamic, playful approach to dance. His teaching focuses on making bachata feel fun, expressive, and accessible while helping dancers grow in technique, confidence, and musicality.
Assisting him is Cassandra, who has been part of the Latin Vibes group for over a year. She has strong foundations in body movement and technique and is passionate about supporting dancers as they start their bachata journey. Cassandra is eager to help students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated on their bachata journey.
Together, Jonathan and Cassandra will focus on refining fundamentals, improving body movements, connection, flow, and musicality, while introducing creative and enjoyable combinations that you can confidently use on the social dance floor. Expect a supportive and encouraging class environment with continuous individual feedback to help you grow at your own pace, all while having fun.
