Latin Vibes Festival didn’t start with the intention of becoming a dance festival. It began as a simple weekender, driven by excitement and curiosity. The organizers wanted to bring inspiring talent to Copenhagen and give the local dance community a taste of the wider world of bachata and salsa.

As the vision grew, so did the lineup. The first edition welcomed an incredible mix of international and local artists, including bachata talents such as Alonso & Noelia, Carlos & Paz, Ola & Jesús, Sorush, and Danish artists like Erik & Katinka, Imad & Birgit, Felipe & Johanna, and Gadir. On the salsa side, dancers were inspired by artists such as Antoni & Jasmina Berardi, Pinuzzo Agua, Mambo Vikings, Geovanni & Jennie, Dennis Bertoleza & Christina, and DanceManiacs.

Through bringing together so much talent, energy, and passion, the people behind Latin Vibes fell in love with growing the community. What was meant to be a single weekender naturally evolved into something bigger, and Latin Vibes Weekener transformed into a festival.

At its heart, Latin Vibes Festival remains about connection, exposure to various styles, growth, and sharing the joy of dance.

In June 2023, Latin Vibes proudly hosted its official first festival edition.

For three vibrant days, Copenhagen became a meeting point for dancers from near and far. The festival brought together an inspiring mix of international and local artists, with bachata talents such as Melvin & Gatica, Miguel & Sunsire, Sorush & Aiste, Aitor & Ola, Peter & Julia, and beloved local names like Erik & Katinka, Gadir & Liza, Imad & Birgit, Benjamin & Sara.

On the salsa side, the energy was just as powerful, led by Marco Ferrigno and his team, alongside artists like Linda Veronica Arramendiz, Francesco Aruta, Elisa Bonardi, Jessica Patella, Luis Vasquez & Weronika, Mambo Vikings, and Ruben & Eliana. The festival also opened its doors to urban styles, welcoming Uyen DivAsia (heels), Keiran (hip hop), and Tahida (afro), adding even more colour to the weekend.

From packed workshops and buzzing social dance floors to high-level shows and the unforgettable Latin Break Down breakdance event, the first festival felt like a celebration of everything Latin Vibes stood for.

June 2023 marked the moment when a community-driven idea officially became a festival. At its heart, Latin Vibes remained exactly the same: passionate people, shared experiences, a desire to expose social dancers to a wide range of styles, and a deep love for dance and connection.

In March 2024, Latin Vibes returned to Copenhagen for its second festival edition, once again filling Kildevæld Kulturcenter with music, movement, and connection. Building on the energy of the year before, the festival expanded its program while staying true to its core mission: exposing social dancers to a wide range of styles and influences.

The lineup brought together an exciting mix of international and local artists. The bachata program featured talents such as Ofir & Ofri, Juan & Sara, Luismi & Mariangela, Gregory & Karolina, Iman & Emma, Jules & Gadir, Maykel & Zaka, Benjamin & Sara, Daniel & Ola, and Erik & Katinka. Salsa dancers were inspired by Luis Vazquez & Weronika and the ever-energetic Mambo Vikings, while the urban program added even more depth with artists like Colosal Titan, Uyen DivAsia, Tahida Aboud, Natasha Goodhew Jacoby, Elisabetta De Giosa, Mads Panik & Jonathan Bentsen, Keiran Araza, and Tahiry Andrianaho.

For the first time in Denmark, the festival proudly hosted the Warsaw Bachata MeetUp Social Dance Competition, adding a new layer of excitement and celebration to the weekend. Alongside more than 30 hours of workshops, three packed parties with multiple dance floors, and high-level shows, the second edition felt like a true meeting point for dancers of all backgrounds.

The second edition of Latin Vibes wasn’t just about growing bigger, it was about growing deeper. Strengthening connections, broadening horizons, and continuing to build a community where social dancers can explore, learn, and share their love for dance together.

Latin Vibes Festival returns for its third edition in March 2025, continuing its mission to inspire social dancers through diversity, exploration, and growth. The festival is created as a space where dancers can discover new styles, expand their movement vocabulary, and find inspiration they can bring back to the social dance floor.

At the heart of the festival is bachata, with an outstanding lineup including Alonso & Noelia, Carlos & Paz, Agustin & Alba, Gregory & Karolina, Kornel & Cathrine, John & Emma, Benjamin & Sara, Jonathan & Ola, Daniel & Gioia, Gadir & Kate, Maykel & Zaka, Erik & Katinka, Nicholas & Lena, and Moe.

Salsa is equally represented, with artists such as Yoyo Flow, Mambo Vikings, and Mads, bringing influences from salsa, boogaloo, reggaeton, and salsa caleña. Completing the experience, the urban and fusion program invites dancers to explore afro, reggaeton, heels, hip hop, Brazilian funk, zouk, and contemporary with Tahida, Tahiry, Uyen, Keiran, Camilla, Caroline, and Lua.

With over 30 hours of workshops, three nights of social dancing across multiple dance floors, high-level shows, and the return of the Warsaw Bachata MeetUp Social Dance Competition, Latin Vibes Festival 2025 is all about inspiration, discovery, and falling in love with new styles.

Latin Vibes Festival returns for its fourth edition in March 2026, continuing its journey as a community-driven festival built on inspiration, exploration, and growth. After three successful editions, Latin Vibes remains dedicated to exposing social dancers to a wide range of styles—inviting them to discover new movements, musicalities, and influences they can bring into their own dancing.

Bachata once again forms the core of the festival, with an exciting lineup featuring Pablo & Raquel, Masa & Polina, Timea & Javi, Gregory & Karolina, John & Emma, Benjamin & Sara, Jonathan & Lena, Ola, and Daniel & Chloe, Zaka & Maykel, Gadir & Kate, and Diego & Ola. Alongside bachata, the festival continues to expand its horizons with salsa and urban styles, including salsa caleña with Mads, Zouk with Caroline, and more artists to be announced.

With over 30 hours of workshops across bachata, afro, heels, reggaeton, hip hop, dancehall, dembow, styling, and more, three nights of social dancing on multiple floors, high-level shows, and the return of the Warsaw Bachata MeetUp Social Dance Competition for the third time in Denmark, Latin Vibes Festival 2026 is about curiosity, inspiration, and evolving as a dancer.
